Natasha was rescued from a mobile home fire. The owner (whom perished in the fire) was able to get some of the 10 cats they had out of the house. We rescued the 5 that made it. Found homes for 4 of the 5 (Natasha is still with us). Much more to Come here on Timmy's Kitty's. TK is still in the works. See us on FB. We'll send out updates to TK on FB. Thanks for visiting, we appreciate your time.
PurrFact: Domestic long-haired cats have been kept as pets around the world – apparently originating in Western Asia – for several centuries. During the 16th century imported the first long-haired cats into Europe. In the mid-17th century, as the plague destroyed much of London's population, the cat made its first strides of recovery from centuries of persecution. Despite having been outlawed by the Roman Catholic church, during this time cats were encouraged as protectors from flea-carrying rats (this purrfact is from Wiki).

I always say Natasha (Toshi) is such a beautiful cat that I'm going to enter her in cat shows (not really though). She has such beautiful long and colorful hair, "Toshi, it's brush time", I'll call out to her. She'll softly promenade right over to me (most of the time), and bless me with one of her high pitched meows, "I'm ready for my brushing daddy". Toshi loves her brush time. However, she gets a little less than lady like (meows load and scampers off) when I have to cut out small knots from her fur. For some reason Toshi only gets knots of fur near her tushy, even after all the work I have to do brushing her (more like I get the opportunity to brush a beautiful and loving kitty). Crazy feline world.
